Differentiated learning is very much at the core of our teaching to meet all students’ different needs, whatever their level. The prime purpose of education is to help students explore what they think is their potential, to see in students something they may not see in themselves. In this webinar, we will look at why ‘extensive reading’ is crucial. Reading supports language development but it does much more than that. Reading helps focus attention, develops empathy, social skills, and critical literacy skills.
We will introduce you to Helbling English Readers, from teen-relevant classics and original fiction -mapped to Options & innovative reading resources for teachers & students. We will also see briefly how vocabulary can be pre-taught.

Adrian Mc Cormick
Adrian Mc Cormick graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree from Queens University and Open University diploma in French. He has been advising English language teachers for over 20 years. He has travelled extensively throughout Western Europe & set up workshops for English teachers in the region. He is now based in Lille in Northern France and is dedicated point of contact for Helbling English in France, UK and Benelux.

She has been working in ELT for more than 20 years and 10 years as a methodologist in Eurokniga Ukraine.
